Frey, Alvina (nee Pelz) 78, on January 9, 2010 of Ramsey, NJ.
Beloved wife of the late Anthony Chodorowski and the late Edward Frey. Loving sister of Elsie Pelz Wickenheisser and Frank Pelz. Dear aunt of Erika, Lorie, Stephanie and Bob and great-aunt of Isley, Kyrie, Riley and Evan. Alvina was a member of the Mahwah Women's Club, the Red Hatters and the N.J Farm Bureau. She was the oldest surviving member of the Paterson Farmers Market and retired in 1998.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, 169 Fairmount Rd., Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Cremation was private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ.
Donations may be made in Alvina's name to the Ramsey Ambulance Corps., 41 S. Island Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446 or the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
