Samuel Wyatt Berman, of Ramsey, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Sam was the beloved son of Don and Rosemarie Berman, cherished brother of Lauren Deger and her husband Kevin, and adored grandson of Sergio and Mary Sciancalepore, and the late Jessie Berman. He was the dear nephew of Stephen and Lisa Sciancalepore, Michele Egeberg, and Joyce and the late Robert Berman. Sam was the adored uncle of Charlie and Elliot Deger and was loved by his cousins, friends and all those who crossed paths with him during his short time with us. Sam was captain of the Ramsey High School soccer team and a 2016 graduate of RHS. He also acted as captain of the Ironbound Premier Strikers. We will treasure our memories of Sam and will always remember his kindness, his laugh, his mastery of ping pong, but most of all his love for his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 1-4 & 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey, NJ. (Everyone please meet at Church) Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sam to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, https://ifundraise.nami.org/campaign/samberman.
