Carlo, Sr. Michael John, 86, formerly of Upper Saddle River and Bordentown died on February 18, 2010.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 7, 1923, and was a sales manager for the Esquire Shoe Polish division of the Knomark Co. in New York. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and served in the 565th Air Warning Battalion. Michael was a supporter of several charities. He was a devoted father to Janice Poracky and her husband, Donald of Ramsey, N.J., Susan Di Cosmo and her husband, Peter of Mahwah, N.J. and Michael Carlo of Baltimore, MD. He was a loving grandfather to Lauren, Kristina, Janine and Jessica.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Paul's RC Church in Ramsey, N.J. at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, Ramsey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Association of Retarded Citizens, The Foundation of the Blind or Wounded Warriors.
