Alvina was the strongest woman of character that I have ever known. Thanks to her I have learned over the years, to be a strong minded woman and not to let adversity get me down. She taught me the value of a hard days work. I regret losing contact with her after I had left the area. I will miss her and the valuable lessons she taught me over the years. Thank you for being there for me and my children will also miss their ''granny guke''.

Can't really put in to words how much Alvina meant to all of us at the Mahwah Bar & Grill. She was a part of our family and brought smiles and good cheer everytime she was here. Our world is a better one because it was touched by Alvina. We will miss her dearly.

I have never met such a loving, honest, caring and hard working peron as Alvina. For as long as I live I will forever cherish the friendship and the time I've spent with her.
